Bruna Pavan, PMP
Bruna Pavan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with expertise in maritime operations, human systems integration (HSI), and human factors engineering (HFE). She currently serves as a Human Factors Engineer II, where she manages project schedule and deliverables while also contributing to technical analyses that ensure timely, high-quality results for clients. Bruna brings over six years of active duty U.S. Coast Guard officer experience, including four years supporting the Offshore Patrol Cutter program as Training Officer and prior service as Operations Officer and Deck Watch Officer aboard a Fast Response Cutter.
Drawing on her background as an operational end user, Bruna takes pride in conducting thorough analyses to ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and usability of critical systems. Her past assignments shaped her expertise in risk mitigation, operational safety, and team development—skills she now applies to her HSI/HFE work at Humanproof.
Bruna holds a Bachelor of Science in Government from the United States Coast Guard Academy and a Master’s in Transportation & Logistics Management with a concentration in Maritime Engineering Management. In addition, she is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and holds various Federal Acquisitions Institute certifications. She continues to serve as a Lieutenant (O-3) in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve.
