A recent survey found that around 85% of insurance executives don't expect significant effects of autonomous vehicles on the insurance industry until 2025. Furthermore, those surveyed indicated that they believe new insurance providers will come into existence in order to handle the driverless market, with more than half indicasting that automakers themselves may potentially provide insurance in the future.
