Technical Writer
The Technical Writer is responsible for producing clear, accurate, and compliant documentation in support of the company's defense contracts and government obligations. This position develops, edits, and maintains technical manuals, specifications, contract deliverable documents (CDRLs), and other government-required documentation in strict accordance with applicable MIL-SPEC, MIL-STD, and contract statement of work (SOW) requirements.
The Technical Writer works directly with engineers, program managers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical content into structured, audit-ready documentation. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance commensurate with program requirements.
Business Development & Capture Specialist – SkillBridge
Humanproof is seeking a motivated Business Development & Capture Specialist through the DoD SkillBridge program to support our growth in the federal and defense markets. This role offers hands-on experience across the full business development lifecycle—from identifying and qualifying opportunities to building relationships, shaping capture strategies, and assisting in proposal execution.
Working directly with company leadership, you’ll help position Humanproof for success in government contracting while gaining valuable exposure to the fields of Human Systems Integration (HSI) and technical documentation research. DoD Skillbridge Position: Human Systems Integration (HSI) Analyst
We are looking for a dedicated professional with extensive experience in providing Human Systems Integration (HSI) services across multiple domains, including Human Factors Engineering, Habitability, System Safety, Manpower and Personnel, and Human Performance Support and Training. Expertise in integrating HSI principles from the conceptual phase through contract design, focusing on improving human interaction, efficiency, and safety in ship system designs. Adept at conducting comprehensive research, development, and testing to enhance system usability, habitability, and safety, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive design standards and solutions for human centered improvements.
Human Factors Engineer
The Human Factors Engineer (HFE) will be a key member of a Human Systems Integration (HSI) team supporting a US Coast Guard shipbuilding program. Tasks will focus on developing HFE/HSI requirements, and conducting a variety of HFE analyses to ensure compliance with customer expectations. Qualified candidates must be a US citizen and must have a DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a year of being hired.
